I'm proud and excited to announce... Ignite Bend 1! Getting to this point has taken a lot of work and energy from some very talented local folks. I am so excited that this is finally happening...
Burning ideas are spreading across Central Oregon as the region prepares to host its' first “Ignite” event on Thursday, February 12th at 7:30 pm. Speakers are preselected and proposals are still being accepted on the website – ignitebend.com. If your topic is chosen you get five minutes on stage to share your idea. But here’s the catch – you only get 20 slides and they rotate automatically after 15 seconds. Organizers are also looking for sponsors to help cover event costs, and volunteers to make sure the night goes smoothly.
