Watermelon

I made this quilt for my friends that will be having a baby soon. Mother-to-be has been craving watermelon so I thought it was an appropriate theme! Doesn't it make you hungry?

Beverage rack is looking a little bare though. Hmmm, might have to do something about that. Luckily there are several bottles in the fridge, too! ;)

Quarters

This could be bad.

The store "Sew Many Quilts" just moved from their old location on 2nd Street (near Arby's and Jiffy Lube) to the old Social Security office off Wilson.

Which is about a mile from my house.

Within biking distance.

I might have to clear off another shelf in the closet for all the new additions to my fabric collection.

Swap

Being part "quilt nerd" I decided to sign up for a potholder swap last week. People signed up from all over the world and my swap buddy lives...

In Sisters!

Which is actually really fun. Because now instead of sending it through the mail, we get to meet for coffee and swap in person. Woot!
