As mentioned in a previous post... we have a mama robin and babies nesting in our yard.
Our first casualty was found this week. The babies are getting really big, and one of them was pushed from the nest and died. It was very sad!
We will be watching the nest closely this weekend... they are starting to get impatient for mama to bring them their meals so we might see flying lessons soon. We have been keeping the kids away from the nest area, and they are not to touch the birds if they fall or fly out of the nest. We do have several good areas to watch from, which keeps them happy.
